On July 1, Larry Ramsey, former secretary-treasurer of the Representatives and Organizers Union, was sentenced in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio to three years probation and six months of home confinement, and was ordered to pay $163,222 in restitution. He pleaded guilty in March to embezzling funds from the St. Louisville, Ohio union in the same amount. The sentencing follows an investigation by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
