Northern California Carpenters Bookkeeper Sentenced for Records Fraud

Carpenters logoOn August 5, Audrea Ann Jimenez, former secretary-bookkeeper for United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, was sentenced in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to two years probation and 75 hours of community service for making a false entry in the San Jose union’s records. She had been charged in February and pleaded guilty in May. The sentencing follows a probe by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
