Michigan Electrical Workers Secretary-Treasurer Indicted for Embezzlement

On September 17, Carolyn Williams, former secretary-treasurer of Local 352 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, was indicted in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan on one count of embezzling $9,554.14 in funds from the Lansing union. The indictment follows an investigation by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
