On November 17, Warren Demmin, former secretary-treasurer of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local Lodge 449, was indicted in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin on four counts of embezzlement totaling $681.44 from the Sturgeon Bay union. The indictment follows an investigation by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
