On December 7, Mark Owens, formerly financial secretary of International Association of Machinists Local Lodge 366W, was charged in the Circuit Court of Marion County, Kentucky with theft of $200 from the Lebanon, Ky. union. He then pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to 60 days of probation on the condition that he make restitution of $200 and pay $153 in fines and court costs. The action follows an investigation by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
