On March 11, David Come, former vice president and assistant business manager for Local 1919 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania to submitting false expense vouchers to the Pittsburgh-based union during January 2006-January 2007. He then was sentenced to nine months probation and ordered to pay $2,850.83 in restitution. The guilty plea and sentencing follow a probe by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
