Food and Commercial Workers Official Indicted for Theft from Mississippi Local

ufcw_intl_logo_1_On August 18, Patsy Fontenot, former International Representative for the United Food and Commercial Workers, was indicted in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi on one count of embezzling $6,943.15 from UFCW Local 790C in Pearl, Miss. during November 2002-March 2006. The indictment follows a probe by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
