On September 14, Joseph Chester, former president of National Association of Air Traffic Controllers Local ABQ in Albuquerque, was indicted in U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico on 47 counts of wire fraud. The charges follow an investigation by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
