Chicago Electrical Workers President Sentenced

On October 21, Larry White, former president of United Electrical Workers Union Local 1110, was sentenced in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to three years probation and ordered to make restitution in the amount of $11,875 for making false entries in financial records of the Chicago union. White pleaded guilty in March. The sentencing follows a probe by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
