Kentucky Secretary-Treasurer Pleads Guilty to Embezzlement

bakery-tobacco-workers-logoOn December 15, Connie Ball, former secretary-treasurer of Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union Local 531, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky to embezzling $7,754 from the London, Ky.-based union during February-May 2008. The agreement states that she will make “full and complete” financial information available. Sentencing is set for April 7.
