On October 26, Kevin Hunt, former secretary-treasurer of United Transportation Union Local 198, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois to filing a false annual financial report on behalf of the Peoria-based union. The guilty plea follows an investigation by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
