On November 19, Tammy Allen, former secretary-treasurer of Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) Local 184, was indicted in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri on one count of bank fraud totaling $45,766.81. The union represents several hundred workers at the Kellogg’s Snack Division plant in Kansas City, Kansas. The indictment follows an investigation by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
