On April 26, Jennine Prince, former bookkeeper of International Association of Iron Workers Local 3 in Pittsburgh, was indicted in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania for embezzling $418,070.96 in union funds. Prince, 41, a resident of Hampton Township, Pa., allegedly cashed unauthorized union checks and stole dues payments. The indictment follows a probe by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
