On March 2, Peggy Bolen, former treasurer of United Steelworkers Local 898, was indicted in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas for embezzling $61,541 in funds from the Redfield, Ark.-based union. The indictment follows an investigation by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
