On May 25, Jeff Napier, former president of United Auto Workers Local 151, pleaded guilty in Fayette County (Indiana) Superior Court to theft from the Connersville, Ind. union. He then was sentenced to three years probation, and was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $3,470 and fined $164. The guilty plea and sentencing follow an investigation by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
