On June 10, Darrell Whitehouse, former treasurer of the Tulsa-based Local 4430 of the United Steelworkers and the Tulsa Joint Building Committee, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma to embezzling $6,350 in union funds. The guilty plea follows an investigation by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
