Illinois Auto Workers Local Treasurer Pleads Guilty

united-auto-workers-logoOn August 25, William Kiddell, former secretary-treasurer of Local 592 of the United Auto Workers, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to making false entries in financial records of the Rockford union. He then agreed to pay $7,152 in restitution. The plea follows a probe by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
