Arizona Postal Workers Treasurer Pleads Guilty to Embezzlement

postal-workers-logoOn July 10, Christina Carr, former secretary-treasurer of American Postal Workers Union Local 7008, pleaded guilty in Navajo County, Arizona Superior Court to embezzling $5,853.19 from the Show Low, Ariz.-based union by making unauthorized use of the local debit card and checking account. She had been indicted in February. The indictment and guilty plea follow an investigation by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
