On August 1, Sean Heuer, former office assistant for International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge 536, was charged in the Superior Court of Washington, County of Cowlitz, with one count of theft and three counts of forgery. The union is based in Longview, Wash. The charges follow an investigation by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
