Texas Postal Workers Local Secretary-Treasurer Pleads Guilty; Sentenced

Postal Workers logoOn September 19, Rosalin Dukes, former secretary-treasurer of American Postal Workers Union Local 3607, pleaded guilty in the District Court for Hunt County (Dallas-Ft. Worth area), Texas, to illegal use of her union-issued credit/debit card. She then was sentenced to five years probation and 100 hours of community service, and ordered to pay $18,598.34 in restitution, $285 in court costs and a $50 Crime Stoppers Fee. The plea and sentencing follow an investigation by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards and the Greenville, Texas Police Department.
