AFGE President in South Dakota Indicted for False Record-Keeping, Theft

afge logo_0On October 23, Melody Wouden, former president of American Federation of Government Employees Local 2342, was indicted in U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota with entering a false statement in union records to conceal theft in an amount less than $1,000 from the Ft. Meade, S.D.-based union. The charge follows a probe by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
