On March 15, James Dalton, former executive secretary-treasurer of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, Northeast Regional Council of Millrights, was indicted in the Trial Court of Massachusetts, BMC Department, on one count of larceny totaling $15,297 from the union, which is based in the Allston neighborhood of Boston. The indictment follows an investigation by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
