On March 19, Paulette McClure, former treasurer of United Government Security Officers of America Local 36, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi to two counts of embezzling $8,166.13 from the Pattison, Miss.-based union. She had been charged in December. The charge and guilty plea follow a probe by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
