On January 15, James Jones, former business manager and financial secretary of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 898, was indicted in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas on one count of embezzlement of $11,551 in funds from the San Angelo union. The indictment follows an investigation by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
