Utility Workers Official in Ohio Indicted for Money Laundering

utility-workers-logoOn September 7, Arthur Boedecker Jr., former vice president of Utility Workers Union of America Local 270, was indicted in the Court of Common Pleas of Cuyahoga County for money laundering. The charge was in addition to one filed back in March for theft in the amount of $40,203 from the Brooklyn Heights (Cleveland area), Ohio union. Both charges follow a probe by the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards.
