Victor Davis Hanson on Patrisse Cullors: ‘Why Are They Woke?’

Hoover Institution scholar and Fox News contributor Victor Davis Hanson this week pondered how and why so many public figures — mainly on the political left — are caught in hypocrisy as they project sins and prejudices upon others that they themselves are guilty of.

He cites several examples, including Rhode Island Democrat Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, Barack and Michelle Obama, and President Joe Biden. But topping his list is recently dispatched Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors, who National Legal and Policy Center has exposed through media reports as a “Marxist” who happens to collect million-dollar homes in white neighborhoods while shielding her lavish spending from public view.

From Hanson’s commentary at American Greatness:

Wokeism was never really about racism, sexism, or other -isms. Instead, for some, it illustrated a psychological pathology of projection: fobbing one’s own concrete prejudices onto

Secret Buyers Get to Overpay for Hunter Biden’s Art

Hunter Biden has received some positive comments about the fruit of his new art career, which he has plied in multi-million dollar homes in Southern California, but his works are also expected to fetch as much as $500,000 — beyond what a normal fledgling artist would merit.

The scandal-plagued son of President Joe Biden has hooked up with Manhattan art dealer George Berges, who told Artnet that he plans to price Hunter’s works at an upcoming show at between $75,000 for works on paper, to a half-million dollars for large paintings.

Like the younger Biden, Berges — who has served prison time for assault with a deadly weapon — has ties to Chinese movers and shakers, according to a January article in the New York Post that first reported Hunter’s new art pursuits:

Berges, 44, regularly features works by Chinese artists and told a

Michael Brown’s Father Joins in Criticism of Black Lives Matter Finances

Local chapters of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation are training their fire on the national organization, after it was revealed that recently departed co-founder Patrisse Cullors purchased million-dollar properties in white neighborhoods, raising suspicions about the BLMGNF’s spending practices and the “Marxist” Cullors’s hypocrisy.

Some local BLM chapters have formed a coalition that they call BLM 10 Plus, which are uniting under statements that seek greater accountability from the parent nonprofit.

According to a report from the Daily Mail over the weekend, the father of Michael Brown — who was shot by a police officer in Ferguson, Mo. in 2014 — has expressed support for BLM 10 Plus’s goal to get to the bottom of Cullors’s purchases of homes in California and Georgia valued collectively at more than $3 million, as well as the management of BLMGNF’s millions that it has … Read More ➡

Congressmen Ask Zuckerberg for Records Because Facebook Acts Like the Government

Mark Zuckerberg

Following last week’s release of the revealing emails of Dr. Anthony Fauci, which included mutual admiration correspondence he had with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the top two Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee and House Oversight Committee want copies of ALL company employees’ communications — both internal and externally with government employees — as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic and censorship.

The online schmoozing between Zuckerberg and Fauci, the director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectiousness Diseases at the National Institutes of Health, included promotion of a special Facebook database about the coronavirus, and an invitation to Fauci to record a video to promote the project. It is widely known that Facebook (and Twitter) have banned any discussion or posts by users that do not conform to the government’s official narrative on the virus, its origins, and how to respond to it.

Blinken Has No Answer on Wuhan Virus

In an interview for “Axios on HBO” over the weekend, Secretary of State Antony Blinken could not articulate any measures that the Biden administration would take against China if it refuses access to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which more than ever is now suspected of unleashing the COVID-19 pandemic on the world.

Asked by interviewer Mike Allen what kind of “teeth” the United States would put into pressuring the communist government if it denied information to investigators — as any person with common sense would expect, considering China has denied and redirected blame about the source of the coronavirus so far, including blaming the U.S. Army — Blinken essentially replied that China would do what’s good for them.

“At the end of the day,” Blinken said, “it’s profoundly in China’s interest to do this as well, because look, it suffered too in the outbreak … Read More ➡

Is Facebook an Arm of the Government and Therefore Subject to the First Amendment?

With the explosion of revelations from the release of the emails of Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectiousness Diseases at the National Institutes of Health, it has been discovered that Facebook is censoring users’ posts of those public records, according to Reclaim the Net.

The emails published last week by Buzzfeed and the Washington Post showed Fauci — the COVID-19 “expert” whose profile has been boosted by voluminous appearances on mainstream media news outlets — taking contradictory stances on the issues of masks and quashing evidence that the virus originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. The emails undermined several other narratives that Fauci and the federal government have rammed down the throats of Americans, who have been forced to suffer under lockdowns and economic destruction, attributed to the threat of the coronavirus.… Read More ➡

Apple Whitewashes Its China Human Rights Record

On the heels of reports that slave labor is utilized in the supply chain for the manufacturing of its products — and that it lobbies in Washington DC to fend off penalties for doing so — Apple released its “People and Environment in Our Supply Chain” review last week, which it produces annually.

In keeping with its past statements in response to claims of labor abuses — especially among its suppliers in China — Apple denied that its parts providers and product assemblers use coerced labor.

The annual report, which focused on fiscal year 2020, attempted to affix evidence and data to Apple’s refutation about labor abuses. Among its in-house findings:

  • Only 9 “core violations” of supplier codes of conduct found, down from 17 in 2019 – C/NET reports “Seven of the nine cases in 2020 related to working hours

REPORT: Joe Biden DID Meet w/ Burisma Official While Son Hunter Served as Board Member

The New York Post reported late yesterday that new revelations from Hunter Biden‘s laptop, which he abandoned at a Delaware repair shop, showed that his father Joe dined in Washington, DC, with his son’s business associates from Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine while he was vice president in April 2015.

The dinner meeting, scheduled to include the Bidens, Hunter’s business partner Devon Archer, and several foreign business associates, was held under the premise to — as Hunter explained in an email — “ostensibly to discuss food security.” But the meeting included officials shown previously to have direct ties to Hunter Biden and Archer, as the Post explained:

The next day, Hunter received an email from Vadym Pozharskyi, an executive of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, to thank him for introducing him to his father.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and
