Before his confirmation by the Senate as Secretary of State, National Legal and Policy Center called upon Tony Blinken to explain the anonymous Chinese funding associated with the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement that Biden established at Penn in 2018, where Blinken was Managing Director. He and other Biden aides from the Obama Administration operated as the government-in-waiting, funded by millions of dollars from China. The Senate never forced Blinken to answer questions about the Biden Center’s China funding during his confirmation hearings.
In an interview for “Axios on HBO” over the weekend, Secretary of State Antony Blinken could not articulate any measures that the Biden administration would take against China if it refuses access to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which more than ever is now suspected of unleashing the COVID-19 pandemic on the world.
Asked by interviewer Mike Allen what kind of “teeth” the United States would put into pressuring the communist government if it denied information to investigators — as any person with common sense would expect, considering China has denied and redirected blame about the source of the coronavirus so far, including blaming the U.S. Army — Blinken essentially replied that China would do what’s good for them.
“At the end of the day,” Blinken said, “it’s profoundly in China’s interest to do this as well, because look, it suffered too in the outbreak … Read More ➡
What can you say about an American presidential administration and corporations that so easily embrace an outcry and boycotts over one state’s clean election laws, but looks the other way when it comes to sending its athletes to perform in a nation of ruthless, torturous dictators?
“Hypocrisy” doesn’t adequately describe the evil double standard.
But that’s what we’ve seen in the state of Georgia – where the governor and legislature enacted a law that removes the likelihood of a repeat of the rampant fraud that marred the 2020 election – which motivated Major League Baseball to move its All-Star Game out of Atlanta, caused actor Will Smith to move a film production from the state, and corporate CEOs to issue statements of condemnation over the measure’s alleged “racist” motivation and effect.
He was so offended by … Read More ➡
From the Washington Free Beacon by Alana Goodman:
Top Republicans on three House investigative committees are demanding that the University of Pennsylvania release funding records on the school’s Penn Biden Center, a policy institute launched by President Joe Biden in 2017.
In a letter sent Thursday to University of Pennsylvania president Amy Gutmann, the lawmakers also asked for records related to the recent surge in donations to the university from China as well as information on any contracts and agreements between Penn and the Chinese government.
The university has received over $72 million from China since the Penn Biden Center opened—up from $21 million in the same time frame prior—prompting questions from watchdog groups and lawmakers about whether the uptick had any relation to the center.
“Understanding whether the University of Pennsylvania’s Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement (Biden Center) received funds from China or other adversarial nations at … Read More ➡
BlackRock, the world’s biggest money manager, has successfully placed executives from its own ranks in key positions on President Joe Biden’s economic team.
Considering the firm’s clear emphasis on progressive policies in investment decisions – called Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) – it doesn’t surprise that its alumni would be among the economic decision-makers at the White House.
The BlackRock veterans are:
- Mike Pyle, who will be Vice President Kamala Harris’s chief economic adviser. He was BlackRock’s Global Chief Investment Strategist after a stint in the Obama administration.
- Brian Deese, who will be director of the National Economic Council. He was previously deputy director and also a senior advisor to Obama. For BlackRock, he was global head of sustainable investing.
- Adewale “Wally” Adeyemo, who will be deputy secretary of the Treasury Department, if he is confirmed by the Senate. He was Obama’s senior

The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) is calling upon the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to demand Tony Blinken, Joe Biden’s pick to be Secretary of State, explain anonymous Chinese funding of the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement that Joe Biden established in 2018 with the University of Pennsylvania, where Blinken was Managing Director and other Biden aides from the Obama Administration operated as the government-in-waiting.
The confirmation hearing is scheduled for January 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
NLPC filed a major complaint with the Department of Education earlier last year demanding that the University of Pennsylvania and its Penn Biden Center disclose the identity of $22 million in anonymous Chinese donations since 2017, including a single eye-popping donation of $14.5 million given on May 29, 2018, shortly after the opening of the Biden Center in Washington, DC. Altogether, China gave … Read More ➡
