Blinken Has No Answer on Wuhan Virus

In an interview for “Axios on HBO” over the weekend, Secretary of State Antony Blinken could not articulate any measures that the Biden administration would take against China if it refuses access to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which more than ever is now suspected of unleashing the COVID-19 pandemic on the world.

Asked by interviewer Mike Allen what kind of “teeth” the United States would put into pressuring the communist government if it denied information to investigators — as any person with common sense would expect, considering China has denied and redirected blame about the source of the coronavirus so far, including blaming the U.S. Army — Blinken essentially replied that China would do what’s good for them.

“At the end of the day,” Blinken said, “it’s profoundly in China’s interest to do this as well, because look, it suffered too in the outbreak … Read More ➡

Is Facebook an Arm of the Government and Therefore Subject to the First Amendment?

With the explosion of revelations from the release of the emails of Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectiousness Diseases at the National Institutes of Health, it has been discovered that Facebook is censoring users’ posts of those public records, according to Reclaim the Net.

The emails published last week by Buzzfeed and the Washington Post showed Fauci — the COVID-19 “expert” whose profile has been boosted by voluminous appearances on mainstream media news outlets — taking contradictory stances on the issues of masks and quashing evidence that the virus originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. The emails undermined several other narratives that Fauci and the federal government have rammed down the throats of Americans, who have been forced to suffer under lockdowns and economic destruction, attributed to the threat of the coronavirus.… Read More ➡

On the heels of reports that slave labor is utilized in the supply chain for the manufacturing of its products — and that it lobbies in Washington DC to fend off penalties for doing so — Apple released its “People and Environment in Our Supply Chain” review last week, which it produces annually.

In keeping with its past statements in response to claims of labor abuses — especially among its suppliers in China — Apple denied that its parts providers and product assemblers use coerced labor.

The annual report, which focused on fiscal year 2020, attempted to affix evidence and data to Apple’s refutation about labor abuses. Among its in-house findings:

  • Only 9 “core violations” of supplier codes of conduct found, down from 17 in 2019 – C/NET reports “Seven of the nine cases in 2020 related to working hours

Apple Betrays Its Chinese Customers; Gives Data Management to Communist Gov’t

Apple CEO Tim Cook

A report from the New York Times on Monday provides greater detail of the lengths that Apple has gone to to kowtow to China, in order to extract its massive profits from the abusive Communist nation.

The newspaper said it reviewed internal documents, recent filings in a court case, interviewed 17 current and former Apple employees, and spoke to four security experts, all which revealed the extent CEO Tim Cook moved the company toward greater capitulation to Chinese government demands for access to its citizens’ private data. It found that not only is Apple giving access to encryption keys for customers’ data on the iCloud to government-owned firm; It is ceding control of the massive server farms that host its cloud computing for the Chinese firm to manage.

From the Times report:

Two decades ago, as Apple’s operations chief, Mr. Cook spearheaded the company’s entrance into

REPORT: More Suppliers for Apple Discovered Using Slave Labor

Tim Cook in China

Why does Apple continue to lobby against a bill that guards against the use of slave labor in China for products shipped to the United States?

Because it appears the iManufacturer wants its Sino-suppliers to continue the practice, if evidence unveiled by (paywall) investigative website The Information is to be believed.

Citing discoveries made by human rights groups via satellite images, videos, and public statements by Chinese officials, the report “found seven companies supplying device components, coatings and assembly services to Apple that are linked to alleged forced labor involving Uyghurs and other oppressed monitories in China. At least five of those companies received thousands of Uyghur and other minority workers at specific factory sites or subsidiaries that did work for Apple, the investigation found.”

For example, the report identified one computer parts supplier – Advanced-Connectek – that operated in an “industrial park” in the Xinjiang … Read More ➡

Why is Biden Sticking With the Beijing Olympics After Bashing Georgia?

What can you say about an American presidential administration and corporations that so easily embrace an outcry and boycotts over one state’s clean election laws, but looks the other way when it comes to sending its athletes to perform in a nation of ruthless, torturous dictators?

“Hypocrisy” doesn’t adequately describe the evil double standard.

But that’s what we’ve seen in the state of Georgia – where the governor and legislature enacted a law that removes the likelihood of a repeat of the rampant fraud that marred the 2020 election – which motivated Major League Baseball to move its All-Star Game out of Atlanta, caused actor Will Smith to move a film production from the state, and corporate CEOs to issue statements of condemnation over the measure’s alleged “racist” motivation and effect.

And President Joe Biden has cheered such moves.

He was so offended by … Read More ➡
